General Terms and Conditions
Rental Conditions
Drivers must be over 21 years of age and able to produce a valid full NZ or International drivers licence they have held for 12 months We also accept US Australian, Canadian, United Kingdom and European licences. Vehicles are not to be driven above snowline, on gravel roads, on the beach or off road. The insurance deductible/excess is required as a deposit when hiring a vehicle. This is payable by way of a credit card only. Credit card details will be destroyed after three months.
Rental Duration
One hire day is 24 hours. Minimum 3 days hire per transaction. There are no refunds given for shorter than time agreed to on hire contract.
Deposit
Once booking is confirmed, a $100 deposit may be required during peak seasons. Non refundable without giving 7 days notice.
Payment Options
All prices shown or quoted do not include GST.
Payments can be made by:
- Electronic Internet Bank Transfer preferred
- Cash
- Credit/Debit card

Supplement to Hirer’s Obligation
- Any speed camera, parking or other infringements are the hirer’s liability. Administration charge will be applied for processing any infringement notices.
- Cars are to be returned with full petrol tanks (unless noted otherwise on hire contract) and in a clean and tidy condition. A cleaning charge will apply for dirty or soiled cars. Cars returned with short petrol will be charged a filling fee and cost of applicable petrol.
- Hirer is responsible for any damage including windscreen chips/cracks not covered by insurance. Windscreen insurance is available with no excess requirements upon request
